About this role
This short-term remote consulting role focuses on implementing an end-to-end KoboToolbox data collection workflow and enabling the team through clear documentation and training.
The ideal candidate has hands-on NGO, research, or field operations experience and can balance technical quality with usability for non-technical users.
What you'll do
- •Set up and configure KoboToolbox projects end-to-end
- •Design advanced forms with skip logic, validations, calculations, and constraints
- •Customize KoboToolbox workflows to match operational needs
- •Ensure smooth and reliable field data collection across devices and contexts
- •Create a clear, visual, step-by-step training manual
- •Deliver live or recorded training sessions for team members
- •Provide post-setup guidance and minor support
What we're looking for
- •Strong hands-on experience with KoboToolbox
- •Proven NGO, research, or field data collection experience
- •Solid command of XLSForm and form logic
- •Experience producing training guides, SOPs, or operational documentation
- •Ability to explain technical workflows clearly to mixed audiences
