About this role
Interns on the delivery team work on the presentation and workflow layer of ERPNext — building print format templates, configuring approval workflows, and supporting client-facing configuration under the guidance of senior team members.
What you'll do
- •Build Jinja2 HTML print format templates for ERPNext documents such as invoices, purchase orders, payment vouchers, and reports
- •Apply client brand guidelines — colors, fonts, logos, headers, and footers — consistently across document templates
- •Configure ERPNext approval workflows for financial and HR documents, including states, transitions, and email notifications
- •Write basic client-side JavaScript scripts to improve form usability — field visibility, auto-population, and inline validation
- •Build ERPNext Dashboard Charts and Number Cards for client operational dashboards
- •Test print formats across browsers and devices and document configurations for handover
What we're looking for
- •Student or recent graduate in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field
- •Solid understanding of HTML and CSS — comfortable building a structured, styled page from scratch
- •Basic JavaScript knowledge
- •Prior exposure to ERPNext, Frappe, or any templating language such as Jinja2 is a strong advantage
- •An eye for layout, spacing, and typographic consistency
Technical skills
- •HTML and CSS (solid)
- •Jinja2 or similar templating language
- •JavaScript (basic)
- •Git (basic)
- •ERPNext or Frappe (nice to have)
- •Python (nice to have)
Personal qualities
- •Attentive to visual detail — notices misalignment and inconsistency
- •Tests their own work thoroughly before marking it done
- •Comfortable reading documentation to solve problems independently
- •Communicates clearly and keeps notes for the team
What you'll accomplish
- •Deliver production-ready print format templates and approval workflow configurations for client ERPNext deployments
- •Build practical experience with ERPNext customization and a portfolio of real implementation work
- •Gain a documented learning path toward a junior developer role on the team
